Course Fees
Fees are set each year and are payable before each semester. The initial rate will apply for the academic year of enrolment but may be subject to change in subsequent years in accordance with the rate set by the University Council. All fees, charges and accounts will be payable in advance as determined by Curtin Sydney. Students will not be permitted to commence or continue their course at the beginning of any semester until all outstanding fees, charges or accounts are paid. Students will be charged the full amount for repeating units.
* The tuition fees (shown in Australian dollars) are based on a normal full-time workload of 100 credits per semester (200 credits per year) unless otherwise stated.
Students studying more than 100 credits per semester will have a higher annual tuition fee. Course changes will attract fee rates applicable at that time. A student should expect that the indicative semester course fee, as shown on the Letter of Offer, might vary from the actual tuition fee according to the units (subjects) undertaken.
The indicative fee is a guide as to what the actual tuition fee will be, because the actual tuition fee is not calculated until enrolment is completed.
For bachelor double degrees, in most instances the actual tuition fee will be the same as the indicative fee.
NOTE: All fees listed are indicative and subject to annual increases. These fees do not include the cost of Overseas Student Health Cover.

Helping students achieve their goals
Navitas Limited, world leaders in university pathway programs, is committed to helping students achieve their career goals by offering scholarships to outstanding students.
Full tuition scholarships
Six full tuition scholarships for university level Diploma or first year undergraduate programs are being offered, three for study in Australia and three for study in the United Kingdom per annum. The successful applicants may choose from any of our institutions in Australia or the United Kingdom . One scholarship will be awarded for each of the three intakes for both these countries.
Partial scholarships
Two partial scholarships (50 percent tuition) are offered each semester by all Navitas Limited member institutions. The scholarship for university level Diploma or first year undergraduate program applies to the student's final semester of study.
All scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
Navitas Limited Family Bursary
Navitas Limited offers financial support in the form of family bursaries. The Navitas Limited family bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas Limited institution. The first family member can be studying at a Navitas Limited institution at the same time as other family members or may have studied at any Navitas Limited institution previously. For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter or stepchildren.
The family bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who study at a Navitas Limited institution. The bursary is equivalent to 10 percent of the tuition fee for the first two semesters of study in one program only (ie. Certificate IV, Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor degree or Masters degree at a Navitas Limited operated institution or campus) and is credited to the eligible student's tuition fee account. Only one family bursary will be granted per student regardless of the number of family members who have studied at a Navitas Limited college.
Please note: The Navitas Limited family bursary excludes students who undertake studies at ACBT, AIBT, AUSI, MIBT Indonesia and Navitas Limited Knowledge.
For further information regarding Navitas Limited Scholarships and Navitas Limited Family Bursaries, please contact Curtin Sydney.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
The Australian Government requires international students to be covered by health insurance for the length of their student visa.
Students must purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) from a registered health provider, approved by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. This is required in order to be granted a student visa and must be paid for before arrival in Australia .
Who are the approved providers?
There are four providers:
- OSHC Worldcare
- Medibank Private
- BUPA Overseas Student Health Cover
- Australian Health Management Group
Curtin will only process payments for OSHC Worldcare. If students wish to use another provider, they will need to make their own payment arrangements and show evidence of payment for visa application.
When does the membership begin?
OSHC will be activated from when international students land in Australia.
What does OSHC Cover?
As of 1 January 2006 most OSHC plans will allow students to claim 100% of the Medicare Benefits Scheduled Fee for a standard medical consultation.
OSHC does not cover dental treatment, optical treatment or physiotherapy. It is strongly recommended that students take out additional health cover directly with their provider to cover these services. A qualifying period applies for some services.
Students should be aware that if they renew their visa offshore, or take a leave of absence from their studies and a new visa is issued from abroad, they will again be subject to a qualifying period for some services.
How long can OSHC be purchased for?
International students must maintain OSHC for the duration of their student visa. If OSHC is not maintained for the length of the student visa it is a breach of the student visa condition, which requires international students to have OSHC cover for the duration of the student visa.In order to ensure that international students have OSHC for the duration of the student visa international students should take out OSHC membership for the duration of the student visa.
How much is it?
You should contact the health funds offering OSHC for information on the costs of OSHC products.
- OSHC Worldcare
- Medibank Private
- BUPA Overseas Student Health Cover
- Australian Health Management Group
Premiums for the entire duration of a student's stay in Australia can be paid in full, at the commencement of their studies.
Visa-length OSHC ensures that students will not have to pay any premium increase for the length of their visa, subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST). Students will be entitled to a refund of any outstanding balance if they leave Australia prematurely, provided there is at least one month before their health cover expires.
